Catastrophic Events Presentation
You and a partner will research one catastrophic event and produce a presentation.
Research will be from our library database. Follow these instructions:
Information that should be included:
Define your Event
What is the Cause of your event?
What negative effects occur? (include people, businesses, plants, animals, the environment)
What positive effects occur?(include people, businesses, plants, animals, the environment)
(You may not find this in research, you may have to think critically!)
Where does your event occur?
Does it occur at a specific time of year?
How frequently does your event occur?
Also include one of the following:
Find a famous disaster caused by your event and communicate why it is famous, what were the circumstances, what records if any did it break?
Find out how people prepare for your event or prevent it. Think of long term and short term preparations. (Architects, City Planning, Etc.)
You will have a 3-5 minute presentation prepared using a presentation tool on the IPad. (IMovie, Stopmotion, Sock Puppets, etc.)
Mrs. Stolp's 2017-2018 class will give presentations on Tuesday October 3rd.

- Once you click on yours, it will take you to the collection.
